Sardar Patel Trust commemorates patriotism of the Patel duo, the natives of Karamsad. Charotar region in Gujarat has witnessed and contributed to varied development of national and even global significance.  Sardar played a key–role in this transformation. In addition to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Veer Vithalbhai Patel Memorial and Sardar Gruh (Sardar’s ancestral residential house) at Karamsad, there are living memorials of Sardar’s contribution in the peripherals of Anand, like: (1) Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd, Anand (Amul), (2) Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, (3) Anand Agriculture University, (4) National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and (5) Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).
